The Zenith Residence | Modern Minimalist Interior

Background
An aging Taipei apartment with cramped, partitioned rooms and minimal natural light. The owners — a young family relocating from a rental — wanted a calm, modern home with room to grow, without losing the storage they relied on.
Our Approach
Our team began with a complete structural assessment to identify which interior walls could safely be removed. We reconfigured the floor plan around an open kitchen-living core, channelled daylight deeper into the apartment through carefully positioned glazing, and selected reflective material finishes that amplify ambient light without glare. Every storage solution was built in — bench seating, full-height wardrobes, and concealed cabinetry — so the open feel never feels empty.
Highlights
- Full structural assessment followed by removal of non-load-bearing partitions to create an open living zone
- Comprehensive electrical rewiring and plumbing infrastructure overhaul
- Strategic glazing placement and reflective finishes amplifying natural daylight throughout
- Custom integrated storage in every room to retain functionality without visual clutter
For Whom
Suited for Taipei families renovating an older apartment who want a modern minimalist style without sacrificing storage, natural light, or everyday liveability. Especially relevant for buyers in Xinyi District and surrounding districts looking to convert older units into modern primary residences.
